Sept 09
Long time since i contributed to my post. I dont find time and motivation these days to put my thoughts to the blog. So i thought to borrow a so called "poem" from my diary that i used to fill in my school days. Another school buffer "poem" which i guess might make few of my readers giggle for a moment :) Here it goes
It was September nine,
I asked her "Will you be mine?"
Reply was "Better luck next time"
I felt, it was not so fine,
But dear, I'll never whine.
I dreamt of walking with her in rain,
And under the sun that shine,
Together i thought to dine
A candle lit dinner with a pinch of wine
I then realized its all a dream in vain.
One thing is sure that your heart will be my shrine,
Till life flows in my vein,
And love remains so divine.
I am LOL as i type it out and its really funny to look back in time.I am wondering where i derived my inspiration and its the word September 9 that took it all this way to find a space in my blog. It was written on 8th October 2003. I think it was a dedication to one of my friend on his birthday which he never knew of.Thanks for bearing with the clumsy poet :)

ReplyDeleteI liked the poem Avin.. It reminded me of the kind of stuff I used to write when I was younger and "falling" in love in rapid succession :-)
ReplyDeletehahaha I know that he friend :P
ReplyDeleteDo you think you can stop now with a pinch of wine???
I enjoyed reading your poem. You didn't seem clumsy at all. Basically these are the little joys of life what we often miss when we are caught in the web of being the 'wise adults'. Keep sharing such joys!
